All work must be original in concept and design and must have been executed by the applicant. Work from molds or kits, commercial or manufactured items and buying/selling are not permitted. Artist applications for tour entry are juried and entrants are selected for the technique, quality and vision of their work, and their studios must reside within 40 miles of Decorah, Iowa.
The self-guided tour is specially timed to take advantage of the fall color and travels to scenic northeast Iowa, for a behind-the-scenes view of the artists’ personal workspace. Brochures will be available in July and will be distributed to area businesses, art shows and artist mailing lists.
